Tinkoff-Saxo will line up at the Canadian WorldTour races with two captains whose skills complement each other well. While Michael Rogers will excel in a hard race, Matti Breschel can save himself for a sprint finish.
On the 12th and 14th of September, Tinkoff-Saxo will be racing two Canadian one-day races, GP Montreal and GP Quebec. They'll be on the start line with this line-up in both races: Bruno Pires, Evgeny Petrov, Jay McCArthy, Jesper Hansen, Matti Breschel, Michael Rogers, Nicki Sørensen and Pawel Poljanski.
DS Fabrizio Guidi states:
“We will be in the two Canadian races with a composed group with both experienced guys and young talents. It is a solid and reliable group from many point of views. Matti and Michael Rogers are our leaders and I think we’ll be able to cover any race situation that occurs. Both circuits (Quebec and Montreal) present some key points and climbs. We are prepared for two of the final battles this season”.
