Nacer Bouhanni, who is currently present into Tour de l’Ain (he won the first stage on Wednesday), hopes to improve his shape in order to be at the top during the Vuelta a Espana. The Cofidis, solutions crédits rider explained he is focusing on six stages where he thinks he will be able to win.
He finished 9th at the prologue of Tour de l'Ain. "The feelings are quite good. I cut six days after I retire after the stage 5 of the Tour de France. I did my return to competition on the GP Getxo in Spain (note: he won the race). Today (Tuesday), the condition is not too bad. But the main objective remains the Vuelta. This three-week race is very mountainous again this year. I studied the course and I ticked six stages that I can win. But it will be seen day after day how the sensations change."
He added according to CyclismActu he does not know what is his schedule after the Vuelta. "We'll see, I did not plan further than the Spanish race. The World Championships road race in Richmond can match my characteristics. Above all we will see if I am selected in the France team for this competition."
