Team Sky officials have told VeloNews that 24 year old American Ian Boswell is likely to remain with the team past this season, when his contract expires.
“Bos has been impressive. He’s really stepped up this season,” a team official told VeloNews. “The deal’s not done yet, but it looks good.”
Boswell has been strong this year and will look to ride a debut Grand Tour at the vuelta this year. He played a key role in setting CVhris Froome up to win the Dauphine last month.
“He really made a step up this year. He was impressive at the [Critérium du] Dauphiné,” the official said of Boswell. “He has the commitment to live in Europe. He loves it over here.”
