Following his success with a stage win in the Glava Tour of Norway, Theo Bos (Blanco) is looking for more. He is looking to pick up a bouquet or two in the Bayern Rundfahrt which kicks off on Wednesday 22 May.
“I haven’t had the chance to study the route book but our Sports Director, Jeroen Blijlevens, feels that I have two very good chances”, said Bos, who added “Therefore I will be going for the win in those two stages and I like my chances. We have a good team and the stage win in Norway has certainly topped up my confidence.”
In the next to last stage of the Tour of Norway, Bos took a tumble but the damage was limited. “I don’t expect it to be a problem for me in the Bayern Rundfahrt. It’s just an abrasion wound on my hip and I don’t have a problem with it whilst cycling.”
Aside from Bos’ ambitions, David Tanner will be a useful classification rider. Sports Director Jeroen Blijlevens said, “David is just back from altitude training and will have the opportunity to take his chances. Hopefully, he can perform well.”
