On Boxing Day, Lars Boom will return to cyclo-cross at the World Cup race in Heusden-Zolder. Boom has revealed his winter plans in an interview with De Telegraaf.
First Boom will travel to the Basque Country where he will do three cyclo-races of the C2 category between the 8th and 11th of December. After that, he will be ready to tackle the circuit in Heusden-Zolder and compete with the world elite. For the 2008 world champion, the cyclo-cross races serve as preparation for the road season.
This winter Boom will leave Astana and return to LottoNL-Jumbo.
