After the demise of Vacansoleil, Grega Bole stepped down to continental level with the Vini Fantini team. Rumoured to join the CCC Polsat team at the end of the season, the Slovenian finished his time with the Italian team in a great way by taking third in the Japan Cup.

"It has been an extraordinary season," general manager Rocco Menna said. "We are really pleased with the way things went this 2014. The boys have always honored the jersey and have always been protagonists. I must admit that it is a season beyond expectations. Now we are ready to make the "jump" and to start this new adventure as a pro continental team after having built our structure during a year at the continental level."
Next year the team is set to be led by Damiano Cunego as they step up to the pro continental level.
