Daan Olivier will have to wait for a while before he can do his first race kilometers. The new LottoNL-Jumbo signing has to be part of the biological passport for a long time before he can return to racing.
Olivier surprisingly announced his retirement last and so he has not been in the system for since that that announcement. The Dutchman was again registered as a cyclist on October 28. The rules require that he has to be in the testing pool for six months before he can be active in the pro peloton. Olivier can therefore make his comeback on April 28.
"Until that time I have to train and improve my form," Olivier said in a video. "In that way, I want to return with the highest possible level."
