"I am not satisfied because I think I did something wrong in the sprint," he told Spaziociclismo. "Unfortunately I had to close the gap to two riders from CCC and once I had done that, I had to start my sprint, otherwise the speed would drop too much. Unfortunately I started too early and I exploded in the finale. There is a bit of regret because I think I could have won."
