An action packed third evening at the Copenhagen Six Days saw Marc Hester and Jasper De Buyst successfully defend their overall lead after some fluctuations at the top early in the evening.
As the experienced Austrian duo Andreas Müller and Andreas Graf won the early and hotly contested Madison, Danes Jesper Mørkøv and Alex Rasmussen temporarily claimed the lead. In the second Madison, though, they lost a lap to both De Ketele/De Pauw and Hester/De Buyst. As the latter gained a second bonus lap for crossing the 200 points mark, the Danish team now trails by two laps.
So far, De Buyst has been the fastest rider on the track while his compatriots De Ketele and De Pauw seem to be the most homogenous team.
