The Bardiani – CSF is ready for its third World Tour event of the 2015 season. On Sunday, the team will be at the start of the Amstel Gold Race, a one-day race in the Netherlands of 258km.
With its worldwide TV coverage and big crowds on the roads, the Dutch race is an important event for the title sponsors Bardiani Valvole and CSF Inox who have a strategical market of their core business in this area.
”After our first participation last year we’re proud to back again," manager Roberto Reverberi said. "It’s a really important race both for our riders and the main sponsors. Our first goal is to be present in the early breakaway. To have at least one rider there is important for TV visibility but also because after the change of the finale, the breakaway has gone really close to the finish line in recent editions. Behind them, Battaglin and Colbrelli will have a different kind of work. Their mission will be to follow the best when the race enters the decisive part."
