The “northern campaign” starts for Bardiani – CSF who will line up at the Driedaagse De Panne (3 Days of De Panne), a short race stage over four stages.

The Green Team will be also present on Saturday, April 4 at the Volta Limburg Classic in Netherlands, a one-day race where Sonny Colbrelli finished 2nd in the last two editions.

”As every year at De Panne, we’ll find several strong riders," sports director Mirko Rossato said. "It’s an important opportunity to see our level on the cobblestones. Some of our guys have acquired a good experience and can aim to achieve positive results. I’m thinking about Colbrelli but also Piechele and Ruffoni. Simion as well, he rode here when he was an Under-23 riders. Other guys like Battaglin will have the first experience so they need to learn and try to support their teammates. At Volta Limburg, looking at the last two second places by Colbrelli, we can’t hide. He and Battaglin will be our leaders, especially if the race will end with a sprint of a reduced group."
