The riders have just had enough time to fly from Dubai to Doha and Bardiani - CSF Pro Team will retutn to racing on Sunday, February 8 at the Tour of Qatar, a stage race which will end on February 13. An event suitable for sprinters but with the danger of wind that is often decisive in the desert.
"The experience gained in previous seasons in this race will definitely be important because every year the wind plays a fundamental role," manager Roberto Reverberi said. "If these conditions will be there again, a rider like Boem can emerge, and in the sprint finishes we will again rely on Ruffoni. It is a shame not to have Simion at the start. I am convinced that here he could continue the work already done in Dubai. Looking finally at our other athletes, I think this is an important new adventure for the Sterbini to gain experience and maybe try themselves in a breakaway."
