Yesterday Alessandro Ballan was a special gust in the Radio Corsa program on Rai Sport 1 where he talked about his future. Having had his suspension shortened, he will be allowed to return to racing in Audust and he is confident that he will be able to find a team.
" I hope to ride in a WorldTour team," he said. "I don't want to retire and even though I am 35 years old, I want to do a year or two with a clear head. It has been hard to ride at this level with the problems I have had for five and a half years. Now I want to have two years where I can focus fully on my work."
Ballan was suspended due to his involvement in the Mantova case and was fired by his BMC team. Due to rules of the Movement for a Credible Cycling MPCC, he will be unable to sign a contract with an MPCC team.
