Astana Pro Team has signed Belgian cyclist Laurens De Vreese on a one-year contract. De Vreese is set to strengthen the Kazakh World Tour team in the classcs.
De Vreese will be joining forces with Dutch rider Lars Boom who signed a contract a few weeks ago. 25-year old De Vreese comes from Ghent and is 2010 Blgian U23 national road race champion.
Laurens De Vreese has been riding for Belgian teams in the first part of his career.. From his start in the professional cycling world in 2011 he rode for Topsport Vlaanderen until the end of the 2013 season.
This year he has been riding inWanty - Groupe Gobert colours. Strong performances in the Tour of Flanders and E3 Harelbeke make him a great acquisition for the cobbled classics where he is set to support Boom.
