The Tour winning team Astana of Kazakhstan has chosen their squad for tomorrow’s Clasica San Sebastian. The team is going with many strong cards for the race such as Liege-Bastogne-Liege winner Maxim Iglinsky and one of Nibali’s Tour helpers Lieuwe Westra.

But also Mikel Landa from Spain must be seen as a contender for the top 10. Mostly because of his strong showing from last year, where he finished in the top 6. Also his stage win in Giro del Trentino in the Spring and his overall top 10 GC spot as well.

Liuewe Westra won stage 7 in both Volta a Catalunya and Criterium Dauphine and he was a part of the Astana team which lead their Italian captain Vincenzo Nibali to the overall victory in Tour de France. He also has a red jersey number from stage 5 in the Tour de France.
