According to Italian media, not only Team Colombia riders are having troubles with acquiring visas to participate in the coming Giro d’Italia 2014 edition, but the procedures were also postponed regarding the Trek Factory Racing climber Julian Arredondo.
Arredondo, one of early season’s revelations, unlike his three fellow countrymen Rubiano, Pantano and Quintero were not denied a visa by the British Embassy, but procedures with issuing the document were postponed.
Italian media are suggesting that it shouldn’t prevent the Colombian rider from participating in the Giro d’Italia, but prolonged procedures are putting his appearance in the Fleche Wallonne under a serious threat.
