Ag2r-La Mondiale have gone into the Dubai Tour with Lloyd Mondory as their protected sprinter but the Frenchman is not in his best condition after his injury-filled 2014 season. Nonetheless, the Frenchman managed to sprint to another top 15 in today's stage.
"It was much harder and longer than yesterday with 190 kilometers and with 30°c degrees and strong wind," sports director Gilles Mas said. "Lloyd finished in the top 15 again. We continue to work in a good team spirit. Tomorrow will be another day with a last kilometer with an 8.9% average slope."
The team will focus on Mikael Cherel in tomorrow's queen stage.
