According to Biciciclismo, Androni-Venezuela manager Gianni Savio has chosen first six riders to tackle the Giro d’Italia under the banner of the Italian Pro Continental team, with remaining spots to be filled by the end of this month – particularly, following the Giro del Trentino held from April 22nd.
The Androni-Venezuela first selection includes the former Dutch national champion Johnny Hoogerland or Giro d’Italia podium finishers and stage winners Franco Pellizotti and Manuel Belletti.
Acording to Spanish media, also Carlos Ochoa, Yonder Godroy and Jackson Rodriguez can feel secure about their participation in the 2014 edition of the Italian grand tour.
