After a few days of vacation, riders will begin to focus on next season. At Movistar Team, Andrey Amador is not yet known its schedule for 2015 but would like to relive the experience of the Giro. Interviewed by Radio DNA and Al Dia newspaper, the Movistar rider said:
"The Giro is the race three weeks that I like most." Now well rested, the Costa Rican determines its future goals. "I want to again raise my arms and be with our leaders in big races. We can be satisfied with the season 2014. It is an honor to have Nairo Quintana confidence. that motivates me a lot. But I think next year Nairo will focus more on the Tour de France and I do not know yet if I will go with."
"We have two great leaders. But the Giro for example, the goal of the team was to go for stage wins. This opens doors for riders like me who can take breakaways. Sure with both excellent runners we have, the opportunities are fewer but there are still many races that they do not participate and where we can have our chance."
This season, he finished 6th at the Tour of Poland and 10th at the Tour du Haut-Var.
