Early in February, Amstel Gold’s race organsiers announced that along with the 18 WorldTour teams, Team Roompot-Oranje Peloton, Wanty Groupe Gobert and Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise would be given wildcard to the race. Today, the final four wild cards have been handed out.
Bardiani-CSF, Direct Energie, CCC Sprandi Polkowice and Nippo-Vini Fantini are the three teams who will get to participate. 2004 winner Davide Rebellin rides with CCC, while 2008 winner Damiano Cunego is with Nippo.
