Having already announced the signing of Quentin Jauregui, Ag2r continues the process of signing talented young Frenchmen. Today they have signed a three-year contract with climber Pierre-Roger Latour who recently finished 9th in the Tour de l'Ain.
This afternoon Pierre-Roger Latour signed a three-year contract with AG2R LA MONDIALE. The French rider is a product from the youth training centre of Vincent Lavenu's team, Chambéry Cyclisme Formation, which he joined in 2012.
The “Drômois” has recently finished 6th overall on the Tour de l’Avenir. This season he won in St Lyé, Cours-la-Ville and the Circuit du Viaduc Le Ponthou. He also took the 5th place overall in the Tour des Pays de Savoie and he finished 9th in the Tour de l’Ain.
At the end of the month, Latour will take part in the UCI U23 World Championships with the French National Team.
