Ag2r will be gathered for their first real training camp from December 8-18

The next training camp for AG2R La Mondiale team will be held from teh 8th to the 18th of December in Gandia - Valencia (Spain) where all 30 riders will be present.

 

The team has confirmed the first races for all 30 cyclists. Bardet will ride GP La Marseillaise, Tour of Oman and Classic Sud-Ardeche; Péraud will do the Tour de San Luis, Tour of the Mediterranean and Tour de Provence; and Pozzovivo will be at the start of the Tour Down Under, Tour of Oman and Tirreno-Adriatico.

 

Vuillermoz has the Tour de San Luis, Tour of the Mediterranean and Tour du Haut Var Matin on his schedule; Gougeard, meanwhile, will ride at the Tour Down Under, Tour of Oman and Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, and Latour will start his season in France at the GP La Marseillaise, Etoile de Bessèges and the Tour du Haut Var.

 

The first line-ups are as follows: Tour Down Under: Bagdonas, Gautier, Gougeard, Riblon, Pozzovivo, Montaguti and Sergent. Tour de San Luis: Péraud, Vuillermoz, Bonnafond, Bidard, Daniel, Jauregui and Domont

 

There are new faces and some changes in the tecnical staff too:

Philippe Chevallier (UCI Sport and Technical Director 2000-2015) has been the new CEO since 15 November
Vincent Lavenu, founder of the team, is the Director General
Laurent Biondi is the sports manager.


Julien Jurdie is the leader of the team of sports directors: Didier Jannel, Stephane Goubert, Artūras Kasputis and Gilles Mas


Jean - Baptiste Quiclet be the head coach of the team, and work with Nicolas Guillé (former Director of the Sojasun team from 2009 to 2013) and Mickael Bouget (coach of the professional team since 2005). Both were already part of the staff last year but now be appointed full time.


Sam Bellenoue (former duathlon athlete and professional trainer since 2006) will strengthen the coaching team. He is also a student at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) where he writes a thesis on the effects of high-altitude training.


Dr. Eric Bouvat, staff team member since 1999, is the head of the medical section.
