The 167km stage 6 of the Tour of Austria was filled with aggressive racing in the Austrian mountains. For CULT Energy Pro Cycling it was all about saving energy.
Victor de la Parte ( Vorarlberg) won the stage and took the overall lead.
“Today was a rough day but our riders showed good strength," sport director Andre Steensen said. "We had 5 riders in the big 60-rider group. Karel (Hnik) showed good legs today and so did Christian (Mager) Karel finished 27th as the best CULT rider. Today we tried to save our strength and prepare ourselves for Sunday's stage which is more suited to us."
