Interviewed by Las Provincias, the organizers of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana have revealed details about the course and the field.
While confirming that there will be a 38-kilometer team time trial in Alicante and a mountaintop finish on the brutal Alto Mas de la Costa where Mathias Frank won a Vuelta stage a few months ago, Angel Casero and his brother Rafa expect a strong line-up for their race. None WorldTour teams have confirmed their presence, including the Sky team of defending champion Wout Poels, Movistar and Astana who were already part of the race last year. Orica-Scott should also be present with 2008 winner Rubén Plaza and the Yates brothers.
They did not, however, reveal the identities of the other teams.
